MAC was fortunate to host two interns this summer. Spencer Sunstrum joined MAC as a Civil Engineer Intern from the University of Oklahoma. Spencer was able to work alongside our Project Managers, Survey Group and CAD Technicians to gain a deep understanding of our firm operations as a whole. When asked what his favorite aspect about working with MAC has been, he said “…not only is everyone happy to help, but they are eager to share what they know and often give me more information than I asked for.” He explained the atmosphere is what brought him to choose our team for his internship. Speaking about the atmosphere of MAC, he explained, “there is a calm and friendly atmosphere that pervades in the building every day.” Spencer said he was astounded to learn the amount of time and energy that goes into each project.
One of our Project Managers and one of Spencer’s key mentors, Russell Kent, said of Spencer, “Spencer’s genuine interest and passion for engineering and the MAC Process was evident from day one.” Rolland Seaman, who oversees the MAC Intern Program said, “Spencer has a great attitude and is a great fit with the MAC culture.”
We are happy to have had Spencer as part of our MAC family for the summer, and wish him the best of luck in finishing his education.
