Waukesha-Pearce Industries (WPI) contracted MacArthur Associated Consultants (MAC) to provide civil design and construction coordination for a new manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The project is located on a 26-acre tract of land, approximately 2000 ft. south of Southwest 15th Street on the west side of South Council Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The new consolidated industrial facility is over 100,000 square feet and includes 18 acres of paving for extensive truck traffic.
Utilities service lines were constructed to serve the new facility. Approximately 2000 ft. of sanitary sewer construction was required to connect to the existing 10-inch sanitary line on the south side of Southwest 15th Street Fire hydrants were required on-site to serve the facility as per Oklahoma City requirements. MAC coordinated with the City of Oklahoma City regarding utility connections and fire protection requirements.
The site was graded for construction and to ensure positive flow away from paved areas. The existing flow patterns where be maintained where possible and the site drains primarily to the creek on the site’s western edge (a tributary to the North Canadian River). MAC coordinated with the City of Oklahoma City throughout design and construction to obtain all necessary building and environmental permits.
